Afkiki is a start-up non-profit based in the US and is looking for contributors or bloggers from East Africa who are interested in being contributors.
To improve the information flow from the NGO Sector in AFRICA,– I’m looking for contributors willing to write blog posts for AFKIKI—Africa Kisima Kizuri. Afkiki aims is to provide a market place for the public, donors and the African NGOs, Identify, promote ethical practices, and support non-profits that effectively translate funding from the public into a public benefit and educate the public on effective management of the nonprofit sector.
I believe this will make the site a much more attractive place on the internet and a more useful resource for those in interested in our field. The contributors will be expected to be reliable and write 1 excellent article every week for posting on the Afkiki Blog. This can be on any issue currently happening in the sector or on research news related to a niche and post a snippet of interesting content with some comments about the referenced article.
If you work in the NGO sector and believe that you do something useful – or generally feel you have something to offer then I would love to hear from you. As long as you can demonstrate you can write high-quality, original and interesting articles that others will want to read and are willing to do it for nothing but the improving of information flow from the continent of Africa – then drop me an email at afkiki@gmail.com – feel free to ask any questions.
