Whats at stake?

In this blog I have more questions than I have answers to the challenges we are facing right now in the United States. My top five are:

1. How many refugees can we take in the United States to be considered a nation that leads rather than just talks?
2. What do we look for in a presidential candidate that indicates that we are in search of a leader and not just an alternate to the status quo?
3. With so much idle land, why can't we invest in more renewable energy?
4. As Republican's do we get bored?
5. Why do we keep reshaping the education wheel, rather than make it more efficient?
